going off to penang.. 26th june..4 years.. got an offer to do pharmacy there in USM (universiti sains malaysia).. i can't express how blessed i am..its a miracle..cause i did physics in matriculation..(for your info..for pharmacy courses they favour bio students) and yet i was selected as part of the 117 students from all over malaysia to do pharmacy in the uni that is supposedly the best in Malaysia for pharmacy..well.. i will talk more bout it later in the next post.. this is just a brief notice..
p.s1 USM is the only uni which allows physics students to have a chance to do life sciences
its really really God's hand.. i and thank Him for that
sad part is i am leaving again.. *sigh*

whole update =D
alrite alrite i will update =P
hey all.. i am back after my 2 week stint travelling all over malaysia. =)
first i went to pahang on tuesday (5th may) to start my training as a facilitator for orientation week in my ex matriculation college.. (yes i am an alumni now.. =P).. hehe..
then on tat thursday recieved an sms tat was totally potong steam.. *sigh* i had to go to Penang for an interview with the faculty of pharmacy in USM on Monday (11th may).. so. yea.. friday itself i rushed back to KL.. then Sunday i packed my stuff then went to Penang..
the interview itself i would say was a bit tough..
first we lost our way in USM. no laughs. =P. the uni IS big. and finding one faculty was like a needle in a haystack. took half an hr then gave up and asked the guard. (something we shud have done from the start =_=)
second. the questions they asked during the interview was all bout pharmacy. like.. what is pharmacy? which sector of pharmacy do u wanna do after your degree? do u know this and that bereau or sector in pharmacy? LOL. i was expecting questions bout me. my achievements, of course a bit of pharmacy but to that extent i was a bit taken aback. on the spot they asked me to list 3 strong points and 2 weaknesses tat i have. stunted. i mind went blank. but still managed to answer them la phew.
so overall i think it was a pretty good interview.. hehe. i hope i get the course. cause i kinda <3 penang. =).. its not a bad place to be at haha.. ok..
after my interview on monday, took a evening bus. back to KL. next afternoon went back to Pahang via bus again.. i think i have buslag. i was immensely tired when i reached the coll on tuesday evening. but nevertheless i was excited to meet the bunch of Chinese juniors for their moral class 5 mins after my arrival. Without bathing, rushed down after putting down all my stuff and bam. 190 ppl in the lecture hall sitting waiting for the lecturer to come in.. it was moral class time =) and we as facilitators get the advantage of the first 20 mins as the lecturers are usually late haha =)..
So yea.. introduced myself.. and we begin the usual briefing of all the stuff tat we were briefed on in my year.. like reference books, bus tickets, organisations to join, etc etc..
next morning (wed morning), they had to wake up at 430am, and so did all the facilitators. it lasted till the end of the week.. =( so imagine all the faces during moral class at 530am on friday morning haha =(.. it was like zombie gathering x)
this bunch of juniors left an impact on me nevertheless.. though our ultimate goal as facilitators was to instill discipline and knowledge of this coll to our juniors so tat they can survive the 10 months.. haha =).. we also tried to ensure no one quitted coll because of the environment, because of the life.. unless they got better offers.. but quit just to do form 6 is utter nonsense. really.. because
1. this is a shorter course and guarantees u a place in local Uni (a good one too) if u obtain awesome results which is actually not hard to get honestly.. even if u get not so good results, chances are u still get choice number 7 or 8 in your list. =)
2. form 6 hor, how many ppl can get 4.0. its like so crazy impossible to get.. and if u don't get that, they might just send u to some uni in Sabah or Sarawak.. dangerously risky..and even if u wanna go Singapore or overseas to study. if your STPM results are no good. you can't go either.. unless u have real $ so conclusion. if u have a safe base. why not go for it.. the environment of independance is just a matter of time. when all of us go uni, it will be the same.. but i still don't understand why some ppl quit. =(
but i would say. for our pahang matriculation, no chinese quit for Form 6 muahaha.. only for JPA and better offers.. but i am disappointed at my own school juniors. nearly all of them came back for form 6. i can't help feeling frustrated at that..
On Friday, which was the end of all the orientation week and stuff, i came back to KL, relieved and not regretting that i had the chance to give back what this college has given me.. hehe.. if i have a chance i will try to become facilitator again next year. =).. its quite fun really haha x)
p.s1* i had to do a class act on thursday morning just to change their attitude cos this year we used a softer approach and they were getting out of hand. so no one wanted to be the bad guy. i had to be. i din scold them, but i sorta "poured out" my "frustration" on them =P. which actually worked. why?
p.s2* cos on Friday morning. they surprised us with a Manila card 2 tables long (school table).. with all the words of appreciation and promises to change and put in their effort for this year from all the juniors (each one wrote one small card and stuck it on the big card).. =) and also a song.. =D i was seriously touched and to date, the card is with one of our lecturers in the office x).. its the first time facilitators ever recieved such a gift. thats y i said this bunch of juniors was special..to complete such a card in the span of one night shows your sincerity to change for the better.. u guys rocked! ok.. tat was about my 2 weeks away from home.. ok next..
YESTERDAY night.. was the most frightening experience in my life LOL.. i was playing some games on my lappy then i went to my desktop and saw a msn message
"you can now check your matriculation results for sem 2 finals at this website"
i was like " EH? wasn't it released only on 20th may,10am?"
my hands went cold and my heart started to beat. i wasn't ready for this.. not now. =( i was expecting a sleepless night. cos i knew i did not do really well for my physics.. i went and typed my matric number plus IC.. and..
OH MY GOODNESS.. PRAISE GOD! =D
God's mercy is really evident here.. and i wanna give all credit to Him.. cos i am doing this for His glory alone.. =).. all those prayers are answered now.. i can finally breathe. hahaha
this really means a lot to me.. considering my effort tat i put in was much more than in Sem 1.. and also God's grace.. cos i really really really did a bad paper for physics.. so i din know how i managed to get this.. but yea.. HE gave it to me..
so now i can breathe easier. cause i was already considering with my family... backup plans if i did not get a 4.0 CGPA... due to my physics. =x
but now all the worries are over.. now its up to God again to work wonders and give me the course of my choice.. heehee.. =D
God You are good and Your mercy endureth forever. =)

better feed my blog a bit
yep.. tot it will be time.. haha..
well.. ok.. how shall i start.. for starters.. i am back from Penang.. visitin my sis, bro in law and the baby Shanna.. thank God they are all fine. hehe.. baby is healthy and cute.. x)..
going off to pahang again on tuesday to facilitate orientation week for the juniors, next batch of matriculation students.. hehe. Gonna be MIA from may 5th to may 16th.. but in the middle i will have an interview.. (details not cfmed).. so i will have to travel up and down from Pahang.. hopefully the interview will be in the location where i wanted it to be, which is in KL (Shah Alam).. i just hope it will not be in Penang. if not it will be terrible.. going from here to there.. and apparently being a facilitator is gonna be a very tiring responsibility.. so see how i am gonna balance up my time.. haha.
bout the teluk chempedak (TC) trip i had.. just before i left Kuantan the last time.
it was sort of a mixture of unforgettable events..
first for dinner we had the famous chicken chop and a drink.. which in mandarin is called xi mi lao.. honeydew flavour. haha.. i don really know how to describe it.. but its a sweet drink with honeydew fruit and milk and sago bits..and some agar agar.. which was delicious.. haha.. u can even find this drink in KL.. but yea apparently it was famous in TC. and yes.. its those hawker store by the beach.. so yea. sea breeze and all.. make an awesome meal together with frens.. haha
then after the meal, took a walk.. then went back to the chalet.. all of us decided to sleep and wake up at 4am.. go to the beach and wait for the sunrise..
at 4am. alarms sounded all over the room, followed by groans, then silence. LOL
finally 430am, we managed to kick ourselves out of bed.. one had to be literally dragged. =.=
went to McD. x). (its 24hrs).. grabbed a meal. all of us were starving.. and since we were all gonna sleep through breakfast later mite as well grab a bite... haha.
went down to the beach.. chit chatted and ate.. and after tat.. went down to the sea, took of our slippers and walked one whole stretch of the beach.. it was a cool feeling, the late nite sea breeze, warm sea water (ehe. science. nite water is warm). and the waves lapping at your feet. first time i ever walked at the beach at 5am.. awesome experience
after 2 rounds, we sat back on the beach, waiting for the sun to rise.. it was already 6am, but due to the slight drizzle and cloudy skies, we din expect much..
630am, we could see a bit of the sky breaking apart.. light shining through the very seams of the clouds.. a crowd had started to gather around the beach awaiting for the sun to rise as well.. apparently there were a bunch of strange ppl who went swimming =/
in fact. i captured every moment of the sunrise from then.. which i will post in the next post becoz i am downloading something via bit torrent and the upload will be ultra slow.
p.s1. my phone doesn't have nite mode.. which wasn't much of a help.. =(.. the phones with nite mode captured better pics.
7am. sun rose fully.. as expected, we didn't get a chance to see the yoke. cos the sky was cloudy and misty.. but the colours were apparent and clear.. satisfying.. =)..
went back to the chalet after tat.. all dropped dead.. woke up at 1130 am checked out and went to the bus station, boarded the bus and headed home.. hehe =)
tat was pretty much of wat happened.. a very summarized account..
p.s 2 my phone did not manage to get a lot of pics becos all the events took place at nite.. which as i said my phone has no nite mode. so can't take any clear pics. =(
