busy busy busy

yep.. the title states it all.. =)

after yesterday's "election" for the 2009 Chinese New Year festival committee, i was kinda satisfied with the outcome.. Wah Loong was selected as project chairman, something i AM very happy about =D. while for myself i am vice secretary =O.. yes. a girl's job =.=" but anyways, i was chosen out of pure revenge.. ~.~ cause i sorta aided in the election of Kerlee as Sec, so practically i got pointed out first hand ~.~.. am also very glad that she is the Secretary.. haha.. go Kerlee! girl power!~ =D.. u can do it de!... =)

But all these comes at a price.. =(... i got lots of paperwork to do and proposal to settle before this Friday... sob sob.. =(.. but somehow i am super glad that i got to do something different.. than being on the tech team again or something.. one thing that disappoints me this year is that we actually have the largest pool of talents as compared to the previous years.. but where is the unity? last year's batch had to strive to come out with performances, but they were willing to learn.. and they were united in their decisions.. and they were rewarded with the grandest Pesta Tahun Baru Cina ever so far.. =)..

I mean come on larh.. even if one doesn't wanna get involved, just showing up at meetings and rehearsals itself means a great deal.. we are the minority here, and we must take the stand, to make ourselves heard, to show the majority what we are made up off. I personally think that in matriculation, there are only 2 major events.. one was the Tanglung festival and now is the Chinese New Year festival.. and this is our last chance to give it our all.. to continue what the seniors have fought to preserve all these years.. i am really praying that this legacy won't fall in our hands.. but will be continued and not only that, we will leave something for our juniors other than the memories that we will of course cherish.. =)

mind my ranting.. but i am gonna give my all to see this work and its my desire to see the rest of the people do so as well...whether the role is big or small, lets work hard together to make this a success for the sake of the generations to come k? =)

agape..
