How great...

Well lots of things have been happening to me this week.. practically many good things..

1st of all.. i found out that i got selected as a student dynamic counselor.. o_O haha.. well.. they call it Pembimbing Rakan Dynamik here... haha.. how i got selected.. its a long story.. cause i wasn't in the first selection.. and i didn't appeal.. i had to go see the lecturer personally and asked him if i could get a place.. and that time.. he even told me that there was no space left and the at the most, i could only be a non official member.. which means i can involve myself in the activities but not get a certificate at the end of the year as a counselor.. i agreed.. but i had faith that i could still get shortlisted in the "appeal list".. PRAYED a lot about it.. and praise God.. miracles do happen...=) the downside is... i have to come back to college during hols.. the last part.. (friday - sunday) for a course.. well that cuts my hols back to one a half weeks only..=(

secondly.. i thank God that i managed to secure a JPA local scholarship.. haha.. well.. nothing great really.. cause i think they offer to a lot of people.. haha.. but yeah.. i wasn't really hoping much on getting it. cause i sent in my application pretty last min.. yes.. 2 hours b4 closing...o_O.. haha.. but it is still a scholarship haha.. and i am glad to get one.. haha.. and i hope this will lead to many other scholarships.. =D praise God..

haha.. yeah thats all bout it.. God has been really good.. and i am coming back next Friday for hols..=D.. its about an hour till august... time flies.. i really cant wait to be back.. haha.. till then la..

Higher Ground

hey all.. good morning...! haha.. its early and i am still up blogging haha.. well... its just the mood... after doing work... haha.. i feel like writing so heres the post for today....=)

As I mentioned in my last post.. i went to Kuantan and attended a gathering of young people from the churches all over Kuantan known as Higher Ground.. and that night itself they had a guest band from Melaka..(Christian Band)... they call themselves PG 165.. and yeah.. they were good.. recently they just released an EP too.. haha.. i don know the significance of their name though haha.. well...that night.. the session was powerful.. it touched my heart to see the young people of Kuantan desire so much for God.. to be used by Him.. there were around 60+ people.. and the committee of Higher Ground consisted of young people as young as 16-17 years old.. wow.. organizing a gathering that big.. i would say God could use anyone based on wat i saw.. yes in the Bible.. God used a lot of young people.. but that was long ago.. but.. its still applicable today.. the passion burning in their hearts moved me.. the things they were able to accomplish.. God is awweessomeee... haha..

Well.. things have been pretty normal for the past 2 days... even the highlight of my trip to Kuantan was just that event.. we didn't really go anywhere... enjoy much haha.. practically i only got to go to Kuantan on Saturday itself.. late in the afternoon.. haha.. i can't wait to share more stories back there.. by i would rather tell it than write it.. haha.. haih.. there is gonna be class this Saturday argh.. replacement classes cause there will be hols during Hari Raya.. so yeah..bersusah susah dahulu bersenang senang kemudian.. haha..

approx 2 weeks more till my return.. *jumps for joy* haha.. till then.. got to sleep *yawn* haha

after exams... one would think that life is sweet and all... relaxed and everything.. haih.. instantly after exams.. lessons continued.. lectures.. drowsiness everything.. looking forward to my hols really.. haha...

I am back after such a long period of time!! haha.. well.. my phone was stolen today around 3-6am when i was in dreamland...sob sob.. LCD pecah adi still got ppl wanna steal.. so if u guys are trying to contact me.. u can't for 2 weeks.. until i get a new phone.. my number will still remain the same but i will lose a lot of contact numbers..=(

how did it happen? practically i was sleeping and my phone was beside me.. on a box.. so i guess someone crept inside and took it.. but thank God they didn't take my laptop under my phone.. something to be glad for.. haha..

Today i will blog bout faith.. i won't run through the cliche stuff.. faith is believing in the things u cant see.. etc etc.. no.. i will testify bout what faith has done in my life.. very simple stuff.. such as 2 days ago.. we were caught in heavy rain when playing basketball.. we had to find a shelter and it was impossible that we could go back in the storm.. we look set for a boring 2 hours.. i prayed.. believing that God would stop the rain in 10 mins.. and guess what.. though the rain didn't stop.. but it receded to a slight drizzle after 10 mins.. which is sumthing out the norm... supernatural.. such impossible circumstances.. made possible.. because our God is LIMITLESS...

Going to Kuantan town tomorrow again.. haha.. watch a movie and then go for this thingy called Higher Ground which is the gathering of Christian youths all around Kuantan.. looking forward to it.. haha.. staying for the night.. and waiting for the day i return haha.. till the next time i write again.. hey all... i haven't been posting anything new and will not be posting till after 22nd july...cause mid semester test is on the 21st and 22nd July... so till then la.. =)

times of refreshing..

this week was a week full of classes and activities... yes.. on saturday i had a whole day of classes to replace the Monday i had as a holiday.. then today itself i couldn't go to church as there was a run for the upcoming co-curricular carnival.. well the run itself was 3.2 km long.. and i finished in 25 minutes in the top 40 region.. haha... i feel that its pretty good considering the fact that i didn't train and i stopped being heavily involved in sports since SPM was over.. so my stamina was pretty much nil..

Praise God for another awesome Chem and Maths test.. Which in my class only 2 people managed to get an A for chem..and thank God i did..=) God is awesome huh..

I so wanted to upload photos of my recent class project for Living Dynamics class.. haha.. we did a mock prize giving ceremony.. the formal formal kind la.. and it was hilarious.. but due to the bad internet connection.. i could hardly upload a single photo before the connection gets disrupted.. sadded.. =(

But in these times of running up and down.. being busy all over the place.. I desire a time of refreshing where i can rest.. and think bout nothing.. but i was hit with the truth.. that regardless where we are.. what we are doing.. our refreshment is just right beside us...God.. when we are tired.. seek Him.. He will never fail to lift u.. He is our refreshment.. Physically, mentally and spiritually as well..

a taste of Kuantan

well... here i am back again.. well its the 8th of July.. time flies.. 2 months since i've been here.. crazy.. but i feel as if my brains are fried.. with all the work i wish so much for a break.. i will only get my break in another month but till then.. tahan lorh..

Well as i've mentioned in my last post that i went to Kuantan with my friend and stayed there overnight... for 2 nights in fact.. it was a whole new experience.. staying with my friend at his house made me remember home, my life back in KL.. haha.. On the first night, i went out with him to mamak with his former schoolmates.. and they were a nice bunch of people.. On sat morning, i went with him to Kuantan town to look see.. spent a full day there till evening.. haha.. well at least i've been around..

That night after he went for church practice, he took me down to Teluk Chempedak, which was like 5 mins from his house, well in Kuantan, the beach is a normal sight for the people whilist for people like me.. haha.. its a rare sight.. but the night life there is like so busy... hundreds and thousands of people were at the beach or beside it.. well u know especially couples were sitting by the beach watching the waves lap against the shore..

There were a lot of stalls, a mcdonalds, a kfc and a hawker center.. so it was like the x-factor for the crowd, especially the young.. ate at the hawker stall and then took a walk back to the car park via the beach..man when was the last time i walked on the beach at midnite.. haha.. we took a shortcut and went through The Hyatt.. a 5 star hotel in Kuantan... and woots really, the hotel IS awesome.. lol.. my friend and his pal were talking a whole lot of rubbish bout his servant that owns this hotel etc and there was a debate running.. while i just couldn't be bothered and just enjoyed the prestigious ambience around me.. be it only a short 5 mins..haha..

The next morning i went to a new church with my friend, well the main purpose of staying overnight with him.. haha.. Kuantan Baptist Church haha.. and well, had an awesome service and after that had youth then went for lunch.. since the youth group was around 15 people, i got to know each of them quite well after that day.. haha.. well i am looking forward to the next time i go there.. they are an awesome bunch of young people that has great potential to be used greatly by God...

Well.. after that in the afternoon i headed back to coll with my friend.. and thus ends my 1st experience in Kuantan.. Not much of a difference of my life back in KL.. mamak... hanging out with friends etc... minus the beach.. though i can't wait for the moment when i can go there during the day and take a walk around the bay and do a little exploring.. haha.. i didn't manage to settle a single piece of work there and thus resulting in a rush now haha.. well back to work i guess..

well.. this week itself has been a roller coaster of events.. well here we go into the month of July..

firstly, this week i was sick on Thursday and it hit me real bad.. i wasn't having fever.. but my whole body ached at the joints.. had terrible headache, dizziness and my whole body was in fatigue. Along with that came my cough(yes a reprise) and cold.. yeah it was one of those days where u feel like throwing a pity party for yourself.. i had to miss afternoon class.. i was too sick to move.. so.. asked lecturers for permission and thank God they let me.. I prayed that day.. that God would touch me. and here i stand today fully healthy (yeah except the cough) but the body ache and uneasiness were gone.. praise God.. i can't afford to miss class here.. every lecture is important really..

here i am at my friend's house in Kuantan to spend the weekend haha.. cause its easier for me to go to church from here.. and surprise surprise i detected some wireless network from goodness knows where and its fast =) well..yeah.. lots of work to do..

grats for u guys that just got into coll u know who u are.. and behold ure work begins..=) (mock smile) well tell me bout ure orientation when i go back k...
